"On Disaster” is a fanzine by André Coelho and Manuel João Neto in which the spectres of disaster and its poetical melancholic nature are explored through a visual narrative created from textual cut-ups and image fragments. Invoking Maurice Blanchot, J.G. Ballard, Paul Virilio and other sources, this short comic was originally published in the anthology “Postapokalyps” in 2014 by C’est Bon Kultur in the context of the AltCom festival. This is a radically revised and expanded version, establishing conceptual and formal bridges with the graphic novel “Terminal Tower” (Chili Com Carne 2014) by the same authors.
