HORN's seventh studio
album revolves around pieces of literature and songs
hailing from or directed to the trenches of the
world wars.
Thematically, it is one of the
most intense albums in the Horn context.
Stylistically, the songs take a step back in the
project's history, relying heavily on multiple
overlaying guitar structures, probably most
reminiscent of the “Naturkraft” (2005) setting.
Clean and harsh vocals take turns in conveying
the six mid-tempo songs, solely performed in German,
two of which being re-recorded versions of songs
formerly presented on “Distanz” (2010).
“Feldpost” is the first Horn album entirely recorded
in a professional studio. The magnificent artwork
was once again done by the man behind "View From The
Coffin".
The CD will first be released on
November 6th as a collectors edition in digipack,
limited to 900 copies.
